Objective: Was to as closely recreate any of the full page paintings featured throughout our textbook by Claudia Nice. Using the same materials and color palette as she describes, her focus was on using Pen & ink and watercolors.
Solution: Was created on a 7x10 inch Arches rough 140lb watercolor paper. Initially started with an ink sketch and outline of the flowers. Then multiple layers of watercolor were added. Once the painting was complete, it was scanned into Adobe Photoshop to be able to put it into a mock up.
