Objective: To Research, design and execute a drawing that would be used for an article in a proposed “Archaeology” Magazine. In vertical format, display at least 3 different images to combine and layout in an interesting composition.
Solution: With Nefertiti as the main focal point, the three pyramids in the distance and the encircling sun shape, these three images combine to make the composition. The original drawing is done only in graphite, and was then scanned into Adobe Photoshop to add color and final edits. The colored image was brought into InDesign to create a book cover design and was then put into a mock-up to complete the design.
